Michael Carrick has selected his first Manchester United XI in his interim role as manager.
There are some surprises: Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha dropped and Harry Maguire remembered. It looks like Bryan Mbeumo will be in the centre, with Amad and Patrick Dorgu on the wings.
Defense
Senne Lammens is in goal.
The back four is Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw.
It is an experienced defense, missing younger stars like Ayden Heaven and Leny Yoro.
Midfield and attack
Carrick appears to have started with a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Casemiro replacing Manu Ugarte as the midfielder.
Kobbie Mainoo will play in eighth position, with Bruno Fernandes leading the way in 10 or 8/10.
The real surprises come up front, with the informed Ben Sesko, who has scored three goals in his last two games, joining Matheus Cunha on the bench. Mbeumo and Amad will be straight back into the squad after returning from AFCON, with Patrick Dorgu likely to take on Cunha’s role on the left side of the attack
