Collin Gillespie has quietly put together a breakout campaign with the Phoenix Suns, and his strong play is starting to turn heads around the league.
The 26-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2026, and rival executives believe his next contract could land in a similar range to the three-year, $27 million deal Ty Jerome signed with Memphis last offseason, according to The Stein Line’s Jake Fischer.
Teams around the league are keeping tabs on both Gillespie and Jerome, but that interest hasn’t translated into any major moves involving Cleveland.
The Cavaliers, according to Fischer and consistent with reporting from Brett Siegel, have not shown any willingness to explore seasonal trades involving Darius Garland or Jarrett Allen.
Meanwhile, attention has also turned to New York, where the strong recent development of Tyler Kolek has raised new questions for rival teams.
His emergence has some wondering if the Knicks can shift their focus to adding to the frontcourt before the deadline instead of pursuing a veteran point guard.
For now, it remains unclear which direction the Knicks will ultimately take when evaluating their roster needs.
The Clippers are still working with Chris Paul’s representatives to find his next team: https://t.co/xkv5xpFRnk
