Year after year Iowa one of the most reliable attacking lines in the country – and Saturday was no exception. The front five of the Hawkeyes combined for a dominant degree of 97.5 unit, in which each starter earns a figure in the 80s. They only allowed three quarterback that hurried all the game.

With Abdul Carter now in the NFL, Dani Dennis-Sutton has stepped into the spotlight although he was expected to be the dominant Pass Rusher of Penn State, it was his run defense that stole the show in week 1. Dennis sutton earned an elite 97.3 Run-Defense Lions Lion’s lions lioned lions Lions-Lions that looks like one of the best in the country.

On just 14 snaps from the Run defenses, he made two tackles, both of which resulted in a loss of Yardage for the violation. He did not receive any negative figure in the Run game and his average tackle was an impressive 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

Pass Rusher of the Week: Gabe Jacas, Illinois

Illinois is ready for a strong campaign from 2025 and is an ideal start on Friday evening – largely for the defensive end of Gabe Jacas. The junior made a major impact in just 33 snaps, with four total pressure, including two bags and a forced junk. He ended with a general pff rate of 93.2, which led the Illini defense in a dominant opener.

Coverage defender of the week: Mansoor Delane, LSU Tigers

Virginia Tech Transfer Mansoor Delane got the most out of his LSU debut on Saturday and earned an 81.4 pff figure in a statement victory over Clemson. He was a difference maker at the back, who intercepted Code Klubnik and fall apart for two more steps. It is not a piece to say that LSU may not have pulled up without the impact of Delane on coverage.
