Special Olympics South California swimmer Cole Sibus Seems clear as an actor in his second hit television show. Thousand Tomorrows is a six -part romance based on the relationship between a bull driver and a cowgirl. This is not the first Rodeo from Sibus as a cast member in a popular TV series. Fans may remember his role as Ansel -FAROS on ABCs Stumptown.
In Thousand TomorrowsSibus is back as the younger brother of the main character. He plays Carl Gunnar, a compassionate brother or sister who helps his brother Cody, cure the trauma of the past.
Here is a look of Sibus behind the scenes.
Thousand TomorrowsBased on the bestseller Roman with the same name, was originally released on Pure Flix. Since then it has reached a coveted top 10 spot on Netflix for two weeks in a row. It debuted on the streamer on September 1, 2025 and rose to the top 5 by 5 September.
We had to speak with Cassidy Lunnen, CEO/producer at Red Clay Studios, the Tulsa, OK-based studio that produced Thousand Tomorrows, About Sibus’ work on the show.
Working with Cole Sibus on ‘Thousand Tomorrows’ was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Cole brought an authenticity and sincere heart to his performance that you simply cannot teach – it comes from who he is as a person. Although he had natural nerves like every actor who was confronted with pages with dialogue to remember, Cole approached any challenge with determination and professionalism that impressed our entire cast and crew.
What really made Cole special was not only his talent, but the joy he brought every day. His warm hugs and infectious spirit lifted everyone around him and reminded us all about why we love stories. Cole not only played his character – he embodied the heart of our entire project. When ‘thousand Tomorrows’ reached the Netflix -Top 10 and stayed for almost two weeks, I thought of how Cole’s real performance was such an essential part of that success. He is not only an actor with Down’s syndrome – he is just a gifted actor who happens to have Down’s syndrome, and the industry is better because he represents his voice and talent.
