Cognizant Classic 2026 payout: This is how much each player earned

The Cognizant Classic is once again at a crossroads in the new PGA Tour schedule.

Heading into the last week of February on the calendar, it is not only preceded by back-to-back Signature Events, but also by the WM Phoenix Open and Farmers Insurance Open, two very popular events on the Tour.

On the back end, it’s followed by another Signature Event at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the PGA Tour’s flagship event at the Players Championship.

It may not have the $20 million budget of those massive events, but it’s still enough to change lives no matter who the winner is.

With many stars choosing to take a week off, Shane Lowry took advantage of the chance to play an event while she slept at home. He was looking for his first individual victory on the PGA Tour in seven years, at an event he loves dearly.

Lowry also dominated PGA National over the past five seasons, despite not having a win. But he fell short of the Cognizant again, falling victim to the famous Bear Trap with back-to-back double bogeys.

Nico Echavarria took advantage by hanging on to win his third PGA Tour title.

Below is a breakdown of what everyone in the field earned in South Florida this week. The tournament has a purse of $9.6 million, with $1.78 million going to the winner.
