“We are discontinuing our frozen products and exiting the frozen can category in response to changing consumer preferences,” a company spokesperson told Reuters.
The company, which named insider Henrique Braun as its new CEO in December, has leaned on its portfolio of sugar-free drinks, as well as its more premium product lines such as Fairlife milk, in a choppy consumer landscape.
“With the juice category growing strongly, we are focusing on products that better suit what our consumers want. Frozen products will be discontinued in the first quarter of 2026, with stock available in stores while supplies last,” the spokesperson added.
Coca-Cola has faced a tighter regulatory environment for packaged foods in the US and is trying to roll out a cane sugar version of its trademark soft drink in glass bottles in the country.
Growing demand for low-calorie products has dampened sales of the Coke brand, while a shift to local products has affected demand in countries such as India and China, executives said in October.
