One of the youngest homemade billionaires in India, in addition to his brother Nithin Kamath, sees Nikhil massive opportunities in the household renewable energy sector.
“Renewable energy in India is a huge sector, and there is an equally massive opportunity to build here on our home base on a world -scale scale. It is absolutely necessary that we support these companies to speed up the beautiful transfer of the country,” said Kamath, who is also an investor.
Goldi Solar almost tripled the production capacity of the solar PV module from 3 GW to 14.7 GW in the past 12 months and also develops extensions of the production of solar cells in Surat, Gujarat, said the press note. The company will continue to introduce for highly efficient PV modules for solar energy and cells that absorb emerging technologies to meet the growing beauty needs of India.
The investment comes in the midst of a rapid growth of the domestic demand for solar and sun, supported by government goals of 280 GW of solar power by 2030, import tasks on foreign modules and incentives for local manufacturers in production with production -linked incentive scheme.
