A remarkable house on the Murray Riverfront is expected to break real estate records when it goes under the hammer next month.

It is expected that at 1.41 ha increased Cliffftop, 1129 MurrayView RD, Sunlands is expected, to sell for around $ 1.2 million – more than double the current residential benchmark for the Kleine Riverland site.

But even that record -breaking amount represented an excellent price -quality ratio, said sales agent Greg Cram, of Ray White Riverland.

“In the Adelaide Hills I would say that it would be (a similar house) (selling for) $ 3 million or $ 3.5 million,” said Mr. Cram.

“It is a beautiful, solid house, built from Mount Gambiersteen.

“It is absolutely beautiful – an ‘oh, my God’ property.

“Most people would say if it were somewhere else, it would be worth much more.”

The current residential price record for Sunlands is $ 578,000, only two months ago determined by the sale of a house with three bedrooms on a land package of 1960m².

Although real estate data demonstrates that other houses have sold for higher amounts, they have come up with agricultural and agricultural land.

The house with four bedrooms on MurrayView RD, located less than 10 km from Waikerie and just a two -hour drive from Adelaide, has an epic facade of 196.4m river, with a sweeping panoramic view that conquers the bow of the river.

The suppliers – a retired jeweler and wine grape worker – bought the building more than 25 years ago and have undertaken extensive renovations, added recognized lamen to take advantage of the view of the water, creating an ensuite for the main bedroom and gave the house his distinctive “boomerang” shape.

Character rich details include leadlight windows, ceiling roses and chandeliers and, in the heart of the house, a Blackwood Timber kitchen with granite couch sheets and premium devices.

Mr. Cram said that an element of ‘bling’ really made the house special.

“Everyone can have a cream -colored brick house from the 70s and all the normal things, but this really has the WOW factor and the charm -from the chandeliers to the Blackwood -Kitchen to the luxurious bathroom and the main bedroom with the Ensuite,” he said.

“And just to wake up and to have that river view for the rest of your life – how beautiful.”

Outside, several terraces for the Stazen will fit in with sharp entertainers, while the vast soils are strewn with garden sheds, fountains, fruit trees and a Ferny.

“(The sellers) love their garden. It has brought many birds there, including the Kookaburras,” said Mr. Cram.

Now in the 1980s, the sellers had put their house on the market to reduce and get closer to family, he said.

The MurrayView RD property will be auctioned on 8 October, unless sold earlier.
