The basalt is fully imported (CBU) from India and is powered by a PureTech 1.2 liter turbo engine inline three-petrol engine that makes 110 PS (109 hp or 81 kW) and 205 Nm of torque, with Drive to the front wheels via a six-speed gearbox via a six-speed gearbox.

In terms of size, the French SUV measures 4.352 mm long, 1,765 mm wide, 1,593 mm long and has a wheelbase over 2,651 mm. To bring that in context, the basalt is comparable in size with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, both of which are sold in Indonesia.
