I can only say that I am happy to win the victory at the end and just have a chance to get better. I will try to have my confidence back tomorrow, because today it was a bit tricky. Damir plays really smart tennis, which I have to be focused and ready for that.

“Here it is difficult to play such a great tennis,” Alcaraz added. “The ball flies a lot, goes super fast. You have to be ready to be in a good position for every recording and that is really difficult to do. You need to know that there will be a few points and games in the game if you will not feel good, so you have to keep the positive thoughts in the right way … It is a relief about winning the victory.”
He will be confronted with Serbian Hamad Medjedovic who then removed the 26th seed from Holland, Tallon Greek Spoor 6-4 7-6 (3).
