Zack Littell
Consistency has been a problem for Zack Littell since he was taken over at the Handelsdeadline by the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds will need him to have one of his good days today or their season will probably end. One of the few Reds with Playoff experience, Littell threw in the play -offs in 2019, 2021 and 2023. All his game came out of the Bullpen and he allowed five points in five innings, although in 2023 he threw two perfect innings for Tampa Bay.
The splits this season against Littell are not that great, with judges having small advantages across the board. He has a little better against the left since he came to the Reds than when he was at the rays.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto
After missing a lot of time in 2024, Yoshinobu Yamamoto made 30 starts for the Dodgers in 2025 and was dominant when he placed a 2.49 ERA to join 201 strikeouts. He closed the year on a brilliant run where he switched 44 batters and allowed three points earned in 34.0 innings. At the end of July he allowed one point in 7.0 innings and threw nine against the Reds. Last year in the play -offs with Los Angeles, he threw 18.2 innings with a 3.86 ERA over four starts.
The splits against Yamamota are considerable and right -handed batters have an advantage across the board. The problem is that Righties still cannot touch him at all, he is just a lot better against left -handed batters. Below it has not been shown that he is worse at home in 2025, where his ERA is 3.04 and Hitters have a .603 Ops (it is only .496 on the road).
