The penultimate event of the Professional Golf Tour of India’s 2025 season, the Rs 1 crore Cidco Open, will tee off on Tuesday at the Kharghar Valley Golf Course in Navi Mumbai.
Presented by Larsen & Toubro, it will be PGTI’s first-ever event in Navi Mumbai. The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (Cidco) is the title partner for the event.
The course was constructed by Golf Design India over 7,180 meters as a par-72 course, but the event will be played at a par of 71, the PGTI said.
The field of 126 includes 2025 Order of Merit champion Yuvraj Sandhu, Veer Ahlawat, Manu Gandas, Angad Cheema and Om Prakash Chouhan, who are among the top Indian stars.
Prominent foreign participants include Sri Lankans N. Thangaraja and K. Prabagaran and Md Siddikur Rahman and Badal Hossain from Bangladesh.
Also in contention are Subash Tamang of Nepal, Stepan Danek of the Czech Republic, Italians Michele Ortolani and Federico Zucchetti, and Koichiro Sato of the US.
Local professionals in the field include Manoj Kumar, Mayur Thakur and Pankaj Thakur from Navi Mumbai and Anil Bajrang Mane from Mumbai.
Creating opportunities
