About Ash:

Ash Brandin, EDS has been a public school trainer for 14 years. At that time they found innovative ways to use the interests of students- including video games- to increase involvement and learn to make it more fun and effective. Since February 2021, their Instagram-page- @Thegamer Educator has helped tens of thousands of families in making screen time favorable for the whole family. Ash believes that screens should be part of our lives, not the center of our lives, and helps care providers to navigate through the world of technology with the help of consistent, loving boundaries. Their first book “Power On: Managing Screen Time to Profune the Hole Family”, available on 26 August 2025, is a profound guide for care providers who want to better understand video games and screens, why children love them, when they worry, and how they can use that knowledge to create sustainable, cheap boundaries around Screen. In their spare time, Ash likes to keep walking, baking, playing video games and spending time with their families.
