Rosenior was appointed as Chelsea’s head coach this week on a six-year contract, joining from French club Strasbourg.
The 41-year-old started his coaching career with former club Brighton’s U-23 team, before spells at Derby County, Hull City and Strasbourg.
Rosenior led Strasbourg to European qualification last season and has won the admiration of BlueCo, owner of both Chelsea and the Ligue 1 club.

McFarlane, who took charge of Chelsea in an interim role against Manchester City last weekend, believes Rosenior’s route to Stamford Bridge should inspire youth coaches across England.
“I am sure that all young English coaches from a youth academy background, regardless of who they support, will support Liam in one way or another,” McFarlane said at his pre-match conference on Tuesday.
“It’s really inspiring for young academy coaches to see someone get a job with that profile. We all hope he does very well.”
