UFC star and former world champion Charles Oliveira has revealed who he wants to wrap the BMF title around his waist if he can pull off victory at UFC 326.
Next month, Charles Oliveira will look to add the BMF title to his resume when he takes on Max Holloway, a man he fought and lost over a decade ago. Both men have grown tremendously since then and have achieved some great things, with many expecting an absolute barnburner of a match when they clash in Las Vegas.
In many ways, Charles Oliveira has nothing left to prove in mixed martial arts – but that doesn’t mean he’s not still hungry. He will want to avenge the aforementioned defeat to Holloway and, furthermore, he will probably want to prove that he deserves the £155 gold at least one more time.
In a recent interview, Charles Oliveira spoke openly about who he wants to give him the title if he can secure victory at UFC 326.

“My father,” Oliveira told MMA Junkie through an interpreter on Tuesday. “The reality is, if my dad and my mom hadn’t believed in me and supported me, none of this would have ever happened. None of this would have been possible. I wouldn’t be here. If my dad put the belt on me, that would be great.”
“It’s absolutely huge,” Oliveira said. “It’s one more thing I can add to my legacy. It’s one more achievement. It’s amazing.”
“I think I made a statement in the last fight, I sent a message to everyone in the division,” Oliveira said. “The lion is still hungry and I definitely think I will run for it again and become champion.”

Regardless of whether or not you’re a “Do Bronx” fan, which a lot of people are, there’s no denying that this might be one of the greatest moments in UFC history if he gets his wish.
