A boxing referee was Sukkel and swarm by attackers in the ring in a wild scene after the bolt in the Dominican Republic.
The chaos unfolded just after referee Smoylin Valdez abandoned the winner of the fight in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center in Santo Domingo on Saturday evening.
A man who seemed to be upset by the decision approached Valdez in the ring before he unleashed a vicious shot, causing the ref backwards to be backwards, video shows.
Valdez tried to leave the ring when a second person waved at him, causing a number of men to led to surround the referee and a barrage of bumps.
A battered Valdez eventually fell through the ring ropes and crashed on the floor, where the attack continued.
The disturbing attack took place when boxer Norbelto Jiménez was announced the winner of the 10-round Super Bantamweight competition about Marcelino Nieves.
It is unknown whether the attackers were part of the entourage of Nieves.

The organizer of the fight, Shuan Boxing Promotion, regretted the incident.
“We deeply regret any inappropriate behavior that took place during the event, committed by persons who do not represent the values and philosophy of our company,” said the promotion company.
‘We completely dissolve ourselves from these actions and repeat our dedication to integrity, respect and honest sport.
‘We extend our sincere apologies to the public and all those present who may have been affected by this behavior outside our control.
‘We take the necessary measures to ensure that similar situations do not take place in future editions.
“We hope that, beyond these isolated incidents, you enjoyed the boxing competitions and the level of sport that is so meticulously prepared to offer a spectacle that is worthy of our fans.”

Dailymail.com put his hand out to Valdez, Jiménez and Nieves for comment.
Ladies’ box champion Claressa Shields expressed her disgust about the attack.
“This is Fk’n Ridicolous !!!!!” She wrote in a post on social media. “This is sad.”
The in-ring attack on Valdez was the second he suffered in less than a year.
In June 2024 he was hit by boxer Julio de Jesús after his fight against Angel Cruz was put in the fifth round.
In that dust-up, Valdez took the Jesús revenge and hit the Jesús, who received a lifelong ban from the Dominican Republic National Boxing Commission.
