The following rules have been updated in the 2025/26 IIHF Rulebook and apply to Elite Ice Hockey League competition:
Rule 27 – The Penal Consistency of the goalkeeper
In the event that a keeper is punished, this fine is served by another member of their team that was on the ice when the game is stopped and the fine is assessed. Communication with the official scorekeeper and/or statistics personnel is currently important because they can inform the penalty -time observer who was actually on the ice to ensure that only the right players can serve the time.
Rule 32 – Linersons
The region player gives the referees their interpretation of any incident that may have taken place during the game. The line person can stop playing and reporting what has been observed with the referees when:
(VI) When a keeper plays De Puck outside the designated area behind the net.
Rule 74 Too many players on the ice
74.5 – goalkeeper in the extension
If a team removes the keeper during the extension of an extra attacker, it is permitted that the goalkeeper can change again during the game.
Rule 75 – unsporting behavior
A small fine for “unsporting behavior” will be assessed on the basis of this rule for the following violations:

(Iv) Every player who is on stage with the skate (s) that is exposed to the ice rink during the game. The referee offers the offensive team (coach and players) with one warning for players who are on the boards (and will advise the other team). After a warning in a competition, the team that will be given the warning will receive a small fine for future violations.
