There is so much to discover during the midweek promotion, but one young lad stood out above all.

On a team full of star talent, 17 year old Lennart Karel stole the spotlight for himself just four minutes into his first Champions League start for Bayern Munich.

The attacking midfielder darted away from the surrounding Club Brugge players before unleashing a stunning strike beyond the goalkeeper’s reach.

Statistic of the week

Arsenal are just real estate when you’re playing in the Champions League at home. Their impressive 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid was for the Gunners ninth consecutive home clean sheet in the group stage or league stage of the competition, the first time a team has ever done this.
