Chadwick Boseman’s newly unveiled star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame literally sets his place in entertainment history in stone. Famous colleagues and friends, including Michael B. He never pretended to be above anyone else.”

Kevin reiterated that basic, praising the way they were raised. “It all really started at home. It started with respect for our elders,” he said. “We come from very humble beginnings, not poverty, but certainly not wealth. My father was a factory worker. My mother was a nurse.” The values ​​that shaped their family, he said, were rooted in responsibility, faith and belief in one’s calling.

“We were taught to conduct ourselves knowing that we could be anything we wanted to be because it was within us,” he said ARE.

Both brothers described Chadwick as someone who was disciplined and engaged in an ever-evolving journey of discovery. The discipline extended to the way Chadwick studied and built characters. Kevin described him as a lifelong student.

Kevin added that to every conversation led him to a new discovery. “I walked away and said, ‘Okay, I have to look up as two words in this conversation,’” he said. “He was incredibly brilliant and devoted to constant study. He never gained weight.”

Since his passing, the Boseman family has guarded their privacy while intentionally honoring his memory. They plan to further this commitment by launching the Chadwick Boseman Family Foundation. The concept behind the foundation involves more than supporting people seeking formal education. It will expand support for childcare, education, welfare, literacy and financial literacy.

Kevin said the family will continue to make public appearances to maintain Chadwick’s influence while creating space for the next generation.

“We will continue to celebrate his work, his artistry and his craft,” he said. “It will be interesting to see what young artists create in his absence. ‘Look at all the things this person has accomplished. What stories do I have to tell?'”
