Following the 250 Dual, another CFMoto model was launched for the Malaysian market, the Papio Racer, sold at a price of RM8,888 excluding insurance, in a choice of three colours, namely Clay Yellow, Nebula White and Champion Blue.
The main thing that differentiates this new Papio Racer from the XO Papio launched a few years ago is the body panel, where the Papio Racer gets its tub full from top to bottom, while XO only uses Papio tub half type (no panel on side of engine).
The engine is still the same: a single-cylinder 126cc air-cooled fuel injection unit, along with a six-speed gearbox, which can produce up to 9.5 PS at 8,250 rpm and 9.2 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Even though it is in the ‘mini bike‘, Papio Racer comes with the latest safety system including ABS two-channelimplemented by the front (two-piston) and rear (single-piston caliper) disc brake units, as well as the traction control system, which complements this new model.
The 12 inch wheels of this motorcycle are held by each fork USD forward and monoshock with rear preload adjustment. Key information is displayed via a combination of analogue and digital gauges, while other equipment includes a seven-litre fuel tank, LED lighting and a USB charging socket.
