The Cleveland Cavaliers dominated the Brooklyn Nets 112-84 and extended their winning streak to six games on the season on Thursday night.

Donovan Mitchell dropped 17 points, and James Harden added 16 to take the lead. The Cavaliers have won their five straight games at home and 11 of their last 12 overall.

It was the second game in a row and the sixth time this season that they were not behind.

On the other hand, Michael Porter Jr. 14 points and Ochai Agbaji with 13 for the Nets, who are 5-20 since December 29.

Harden and Mitchell had a lot of chemistry in the early game, as Harden got a steal on a lob pass play to Mitchell for an alley-oop that gave the Cavaliers a 14-3 lead.

The rookie star made his first six from the field, including three three-pointers, while also having nine assists and five rebounds on 7-of-12 shooting from the field.

The Cavaliers led by 18 points at the end of the first quarter. Jarrett Allen scored 10 of his 15 points in the first 12 minutes.

Cleveland shot a season-best 64.2% from the field on 27 of 42 in the first half and held a 70-48 halftime lead.

The Cavaliers’ largest lead of the game and the season was 43 points (102-59) late in the third quarter.

Evan Mobley and Dean Wade returned for the Cavaliers due to calf injuries and a sprained left ankle.

Both teams play road games on Friday: the Nets against the Thunder, while the Cavaliers play at Charlotte.
