Carlos Ulberg claims case for the following title shot – UFC Perth Results

Carlos Ulberg has absolutely fueled Dominick Reyes.

For the Aussie Faithful, the 205 newcomer Dominick Reyes put down in a short time and argued for getting the winner of Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira 2. The most important event of UFC Perth ended only 4:27 of De Ronde one and Ulberg moved to 13-1 everywhere.

Carlos Ulberg: calm, cool and collected

Although he was in his first main event, Carlos Ulberg from Australia was calm. Dominick Reyes did not succeed in getting something meaning against his opponent and paid the price for submitting a blow. After several stairs were exchanged early, Ulberg slid out of the side while Reyes Blit and put him down with a huge right hand followed by a little soil and pound before the referee saw enough and called the fight.

Ulberg said in his post fight that he had already spoken with Sean Shelby and that he would probably be in Las Vegas for UFC 320 next week to view Ankalaev and Pereira Rematch.

Carlos Ulberg defended his number three rankings and improved his win rack to 9 straight fights.

In the Co-Main event, Jimmy defeated Crute Ivanslan with what was called a rear naked choke, but was more like that of Pro Wrestling camel coupling. Jack Jenkins also returned with a unanimous decision victory over Ramon Taveras.

Neil Magny also beat Jake Matthews with some controversy. Towards the end of the first round, Magny was in a guillotine and just before the time passed, the referee said that Magny was out when he wasn’t. Matthews continued his fight to round three when Magny scored a poetic d’Arce -Choke and the victory.

The rest of UFC Perth

Elsewhere on UFC Perth, the Australians largely ruled. Tom Nolan and Charlie Campbell did a barn burner of a fight, even though it was only one round. Campbell pushed the pace and denied Nolan every ground match after low staircases and large punches locked him up. Then Nolan hit him and locked a rear naked choke.

Unbeaten prospect Navajo Stirling remained unbeaten against Rodolfo Bellato. Cam Rowston defeated Andre Petroski and Jamie Malarkey defeated Rolando Bedoya. Colby Dicknesse, Michelle Montague, Brando Pericic and Alexia Thainara also took victories home.
