Carlos Alcaraz joins tennis royalty – $60 million and counting

Carlos Alcaraz’s incredible 2025 season delivered more than trophies and unforgettable moments.

Two Majors and three Masters 1000 shields have made it one of the most exclusive financial clubs in tennis history.

The 22-year-old added more than $21 million in prize money between January and November 2025. In doing so, the El Palmar resident pushed his career earnings past the staggering $60 million mark.

With that leap, Carlos became only the fifth player in history to reach that mark, joining Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray, the players who have defined modern tennis.

The numbers underline how rare this achievement is. Although Alexander Zverev and Jannik Sinner will soon achieve it too, it will be remembered that Alcaraz was there before them, and at a much younger age.

Djokovic remains in a category of his own, approaching the $200 million mark before 2026. Nadal and Federer follow at a considerable distance and with a striking similarity.

Miles behind them, Murray remains in fourth place, but Alcaraz is quickly closing in. The young Spaniard should easily pass the Brit next season with some big results.

What makes the milestone even more amazing is the trajectory. Carlos reached $60 million in prize money before he even reached his physical prime. It took him just four big seasons to get there, taking advantage of the continued rise in prize money.

The earnings reflect a broader reality: Alcaraz is no longer a rising star, but a fixture at the top of the sport. Every major title, and he sits at 14th before 2026, accelerates his climb up the all-time lists, both competitively and financially.

Carlos’ latest performance shows something clearly: he is not just chasing records anymore. Instead, the Spaniard shares space with the biggest names the sport has ever known.

After all, Alcaraz is the second-youngest six-time Major winner, after Bjorn Borg. The 22-year-old enjoyed a career-best run in 2025. He claimed eight titles from eleven finals and reached nine title matches in a row between April and October.

Carlos did enough to keep Jannik Sinner behind him and deliver his second end-of-year issue. 2 hon.
