Carlos Alcaraz is confronted with Joao Fonseca (and probably a lot of loud Brazilian fans) in Miami Marlins Baseball Park December 8 – World Tennis Magazine

Do you think the Brazilians who cheered for Joao Fonseca were loudly open at the Miami? Wait until he plays an exhibition match of 8 December against Carlos Alcaraz in Loandewot Park, the home base of the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball, branded ‘The Miami Invitational’.

Fonseca, the Brazilian superstar, is confronted with Alcaraz, the French and US Open Champion 2025, in the Headliner competition in this One-Night exhibition that also contains Amanda Anisimova, the 2025 Wimbledon and US Open Runner-up and 2021 US Open Champion

The game starts at 7 p.m., with two sets and the Tiebreaker for a third set. The announcement came from Unified Events and Loandewot Park.

The presale for the Miami Invitational starts on Wednesday at 10 am et and tickets are open to the public at 10 am on 3 October. Tickets are available for purchase on Tickets.com. Fans can register with Marlins.com/miamiinvitational for access to exclusive presale.

“I like to play in Miami-de Fans always bring incredible energy. I am very happy to take the court for this very first event in Loompot Park, with João, Amanda and Emma,” Alcaraz wrote in a statement.

Anisimova added in a statement: “Playing in my hometown in Loompot Park with these stars becomes incredible. Miami always delivers the biggest events and I can’t wait for December!”

Loomepot Park is also set to Host the 2026 Discover NHL Winter Classic On January 2, when the double reigning Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers opposite the New York Rangers is located in the first outside NHL match in Florida.

“Four of the top talents in the tennis sport in Carlos Alcaraz, João Fonseca, Amanda Anisimova and Emma Raducanu take to Loandewot Park for this very first event that South Florida once places in the center of the Global Sports Stage,” wrote Marlins of Business Caroline O’Connor. “By organizing this prominent exhibition, we strengthen our status as the ultimate destination for the most prestigious events in sports and entertainment, and we are honored to show our ability to deliver world class experiences for all major events at our unique location.”

Alcaraz, Raducanu and Anisimova play an exhibition the evening for their Miami event in the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, with Frances Tiafoe planned to play again Alcaraz. The Miami Invitational plays on the same night that Madison Square Garden plays an exhibition in New York City against Nick Kyrgios and Aryna Sabalenka.
