Carlos Alcaraz is chasing his first Australian Open title.

The 2026 Australian Open gets underway on Sunday when PIF ATP rankings No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev will compete in the first major of the season.
Alcaraz will begin his quest for a Grand Slam career against Australian Adam Walton. The Spaniard leads the pair’s Lexus ATP Head2Head series 1-0. Zverev, who finished second last year, will face Canadian Gabriel Diallo.
In other action Sunday, Alexander Bublik meets American Jenson Brooksby, Flavio Cobolli takes on Arthur Fery and Frances Tiafoe takes on Jason Kubler.
