“I leave Network 10 very proud of the journalism I have produced over the past fifteen years and the stories I have been able to tell.”
10 News Melbourne reporter Candice Wyatt after 15 years with the network.
“I leave Network 10 very proud of the journalism I have produced over the past fifteen years and the stories I have been able to tell,” said Wyatt.
“I have interviewed people in their darkest hours and others in the happiest moments of their lives.
“I have made lifelong friends and memories and at times the 10 newsroom in Melbourne was filled with colleagues who felt like family – and it has been my second home.
“But it’s time for a new chapter and new challenges and I can’t wait to see what the future brings.”
“During her tenure at 10 News, Candice has covered some of the biggest local and international stories, including the release of Schapelle Corby in Bali prison, the disappearance of MH 370, the Rio disaster Olympic GamesGeorge Pell’s appeal against his conviction and Essendon’s drug saga,” says Nicole Strahan, editor-in-chief of 10 News Melbourne said.
“She was also an integral part of 10 News’ ongoing coverage of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
“We are grateful for Candice’s contributions to the newsroom and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”
