Canadiens fall 7-2 for Leafs in the midst of Dobson, Reinbacher injury problems -The Hockey writers Montreal Canadiens Latest News, Analysis and more

After two periods, the best thing the Montreal Canadiens had for them in their 7-2 losing season for the Toronto Maple Leafs, at least they had their health. Laughton, who also scored two goals to open the score and four total points, again received the Puck to Lorentz, who was undisputed for the net, brought it past starter Sam Montembeault.

That meant the end of the night of Montembeault, after he made 12 saves on 17 shots. Rookie Jacob Fowler replaced him to start the third and did not do much better, gave two goals on eight shots, including a marker-reel marker from Ryan Tverberg, who split up the shortened Canadiens defense to shoot it past the goalkeeper while fell on his knees on an uninhibited effort.

With the Canadiens -Kers a line -up with the projected top two lines for the regular season, including Dachs, and the Leafs not so much, the game was especially disappointing for Habs fans, even distributing problems with the injuries. Leafs goalkeeper Dennis Hildreby was only confronted with 13 shots, making a Mike Matheson-Power play goal in the first possible, who at the time brought the shortage back to 2-1, after the goals of Laughton. Bobby Mcmann and Matt Benning have completed the score for the Leafs.
