BRIDGING THE NETWORKS FROM COAST TO COAST TO COAST
In November, Field Hockey Canada proudly unveiled the new digital home for its successful Stick Together initiative: https://fhcsticktogether.ca/. The website is a centralized hub for local programs, resources and communities across Canada. It functions as an online community hub, bridging the national network of projects to share success stories and resources as we continue to build on the incredible work happening in communities across Canada.
Field Hockey Canada’s Stick Together aims to break down barriers and grow hockey across the country by targeting underserved groups and marginalized communities. Projects already include access to hockey for Indigenous peoples, Black, 2SLGBTQQIA+ and racialized communities, as well as individuals with disabilities or from low-income families.
The new web hub is the living center for Stick Together, bringing communities together across Canada.
In addition, Field Hockey Canada, together with leaders from East and West, will host a National Summit December 15 at 4:00 PM PDT / 5:00 PM MDT / 7:00 PM EDT / 8:00 PM ADT. We will use this summit to share success stories, tools and connect as one network.
