New web hub provides a centralized space for community programming
Field Hockey Canada is proud to unveil the new digital home for its successful Stick Together initiative: https://fhcsticktogether.ca/. The website is a centralized hub for community programs and resources and will function as an online community hub where projects can share success stories and resources as we continue to build on the incredible work happening in communities across Canada.
Field Hockey Canada Stick Together, supported by the Government of Canada through the Community Sport for All Initiative (CSAI), aims to break down barriers and grow hockey across the country by targeting underserved groups such as Indigenous people, Black people, 2SLGBTQQIA+, low-income families, newcomers, racialized communities and individuals with disabilities.
The new web hub will be a living center for Stick Together, bringing communities together across Canada. From sharing success stories to hosting resources, this web community will continue to grow in the years to come, supporting all Stick Together projects by providing a central location for information. Part of this evolved support for Stick Together community programming is a new logo. A variation on the Field Hockey Canada logo, the new Stick Together emblem shows two hockey sticks reaching across the shield shape towards each other, representing the national brand and the inclusive, united and national appeal of the Stick Together initiative.
