Calusa Country Club to reveal 12-hole golf course this winter

‘Social Golf’ course includes mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s

Calusa Country Club in Lakewood Ranch, FLA. Will unveil a new 12-hole golf course this winter. Designed by Gordon Lewis, the new course will take a unique twist on the standard course model and offer a mix of par-3, 4 and 5 holes and at the same time offer a faster alternative for a full 18-hole round. Calusa Country Club is a Lennar Homes Master-planned golf community and part of the award-winning Lakewood Ranch area.

Calusa Country Club opened its new 18-hole championship course, also designed by Lewis, for public game on February 1, 2025. The par-72, 7,400-yard layout contains Tif Eagle Greens, Bimini Grass Fairways and beautiful white bunkers with water in the game on the game. The new 12-hole course plays a par of 48 and can play as long as 4,895 meters.
