California passes into account the proposal of new election cards after Texas is looking for more Gop chairs

The redistribution war simply escalated.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a series of accounts on Thursday in which new congress cards were called up to five democratic seats in the congress, a reaction to a continuous effort in Texas to use redistribution to cut out five extra Gop seats there.

“We neutralize what happened and we give the American people a fair chance,” Newsom said about the effort on Thursday. “Because when all things are the same and we all play according to the same rules, there is no doubt that the Republican party will be the minority party in the House of Representatives.”

The accounts, of which Newsom said they are unique in American history, ask voters to properly approve the congress cards in November in a special election by a constitutional amendment that the independent redistribution process of the State would circumvent.

The effort went through the party lines, with a only democrat that voted against the proposals.

Republicans criticized the redistribution schedule as undemocratic and claimed that it violates the will of Californians who have created the independent redistribution process.

“You are going to fight ahead with fire, what happens? You burn it all down”, said On Thursday. “And in this case it influences our most fundamental American principle: representation.”

The passage of the bill comes a day after the house in Texas has approved a redistribution plan for the state that could add up to five GOP seats in the US Congress. President Trump had called on the state to do this.
