Cal Raleigh has won the first hardware battle.
The Mariners Catcher won the Baseball Digest/Inside Edge Major League Player of the Year Award on Friday and defeated Yankees Slugger Aaron Judge while the two are waiting for their MVP -Lot.
Raleigh won 12 of 24 votes in the first place and achieved 56 points of a panel of writers, broadcasters, managers, managers and former players, with the right-hand winner of last year and received eight votes in first place and 53 points.
Both players prepare for the series of the American League Division that starts this weekend from the historic regular seasonal campaigns.
Raleigh became the seventh player who hit 60 home runs and demolished the goal for catchers and Switch-Hitters, who led the already with 125 RBIs to guide Seattle to the Al West title and the number 2 seed.
