Manchester United passed ten-man Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Saturday and recorded four of four victories under Michael Carrick.
When Spurs were reduced to ten men, fans in the Theater of Dreams must have had flashbacks to that horror night against Everton earlier this season when they ultimately lost despite having a man advantage.
But not under the caretaker head coach. They overcame the visitors’ low-block with the help of a stunning set-piece routine straight from the training pitch, courtesy of Bryan Mbeumo.
A fantastic strike from Bruno Fernandes in the second half sealed all three points. It was almost the perfect day until a video emerged showing the former Brentford striker limping on his way out of the stadium.
Bryan Mbeumo is afraid of injuries
With the game against West Ham just a few days away, fans were right to be concerned as the Cameroonian is the Red Devils’ top scorer this season with ten goals.
However, according to Tarnishknown for his accurate information about the club, the 26-year-old seemed fine in training on Sunday.
In fact, all the players came in for their recovery sessions and the squad was in high spirits, indicating there is no major risk of Bryan Mbeumo missing Tuesday’s away match.
Carrick and his coaching staff were also present at Carrington early and dissected footage of the victory over the north London side.
Latest update
“Michael Carrick, Steve Holland + co arrived in Carrington early this morning to analyze the Spurs game. All players had a recovery session in a very positive mood.

United are already without Matthijs de Ligt, Mason Mount and Shea Lacey and cannot afford another injury in their bid to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Fans will be happy with the update, and hopefully Bryan Mbeumo will start again at the London Stadium as United look to make it five wins out of five.
