The world of Bryan Battle was turned upside down only a few weeks ago, but he landed on his feet.
Battle (12-2, 1NC) was bounced from the UFC after missing the weight for a fight with Nursulton Ruziboev on UFC 319 on August 16. That weightsmiss, which led to the cancellation of the competition, was the second straight for the battle, in two different weight classes (good weight and middle weight), not to mention its third general as a UFC fighter.
After he had been cut by the promotion only a few days later, Battle a fight with Mike Perry’s Dirty Boxing Championship and defeated the Freitas through TKO in just less than a minute. Now, The ultimate hunter 29 Winner has now registered with the PFL, the most important rival of the UFC.
PFL officers announced the signature On Friday. Conditions of the deal were not announced. However, the battle was mentioned as a middleweight in the image with which the PFL ran to announce the arrival of the battle.
The announcement also quoted the fight and added: “Do you know what I say?” -That has become something of a slogan for the TUF champion, given how often he says it during media appearances.
Although the struggle with his weight has struggled, he has found nothing but success in the cage and won four of his last five trips to the Octagon (the remaining competition was not a competition because of a casual eye choke).
