We are reminded every day how AI jobs will eliminate. Here is the Last From affected jobs, and although brokers are specifically mentioned, we fall under a few of their other categories.
Will AI brokers switch off?
Let’s use the sixails for an example. When it came out for the first time, everyone thought it was a joke. But quickly Vooruit more than 10 years, and now homeowners believe that their sixails is a reliable source – unless their broker tells them a higher price.
Initially we were skeptical about everything on the internet. Do you remember that you thought you would never use a credit card to buy something on the net? Now you buy Essentials with your credit card number stored on their website!
Let’s do a check on AI and the local market:
Here are the actual MLS data of today for San Diego County:
Active lists, all residential: 6,629 listsMediaan LP = $ 915,000
Active entries, single -family homes: 3,558 listsMediaan LP = $ 1,250,000
Their 2,024 active entries are nowhere in the area. In the first section, their median single -family house prize for August 2025 is $ 1,399,000 ?? For single -family homes it is $ 1,040,000 And for all types of residential $ 875,000.
Today’s AI on market conditions is just as wrong as the sixails was new then!
What is worse is that they rely on brokerage websites for their data. I have the same or similar numbers from Chatgpt, and both scrape their data from other websites to which they link. One of their sources is for a license holder in the desert who is selling real estate agents, not selling houses. Another website is owned by a local broker who has not sold a house this year and only has an automatic feed of data from their brokerage.
You would think that obtaining the right data should be easy, but they struggle with it. How will they help you make the decisions about buying and selling a house?
Yet I suspect that consumers unfortunately just agree.
We need auctions!
