The powertrain combined a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and three e-motors for an output of 986 hp, deployed via an eight-speed dual clutch and an electrically driven front axle for seamless traction on all wheels. In qualifying mode it delivered figures that redefined road car pace, reaching 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 340 km/h. Combined with Ferrari’s advanced electronic Slide Slip Control (eSSC) system, the platform was able to lap the short Fiorano test track an incredible four-tenths faster than Ferrari’s first hybrid, the revered LaFerrari.
