“And while I understand that the video could be described as insane, it was not illegal and certainly should not be the reason to ban an athlete.”
Rozentals said his most recent funding from Paddle UK was £16,000 per year.
But he claimed he made more than £100,000 from his social media videos between January and May.
Paddle UK said the decision was made by a disciplinary panel, following an independent investigation and hearing involving Rozentals.
The governing body said Rozentals “admitted to posting an explicit video on their public Instagram profile, which was subsequently removed due to its explicit nature.”
It said this was a breach of its disciplinary policy relating to “indecent, offensive or immoral behaviour” and “offensive use of social media”.
Rozentals had previously told the media that he did not know the reason for his suspension, but suspected it was linked to his account on the subscription website OnlyFans, which is known for hosting adult content.
The panel found that Rozentals had “deliberately misinformed the press” in this regard.
When asked if he regretted the video, Rozentals told BBC Sport: “Looking back now, I probably wouldn’t post something like that. But I remember the state of mind I was in when I filmed and posted the video. It was the first time in my life that I saw real progress in my financial situation. It was the first time I was able to finance the training myself.
“It was the first time I was able to give my mother something nice after she sacrificed everything to allow me to pursue my dream. And it came from crazy videos like the one that got me banned.
“I saw a direct correlation between making these types of videos and improving my life situation. So I was in a state of mind where I knew all I had to do was keep making videos like this. It’s a crazy world we live in. I have no regrets.”
In a statement, Paddle UK said it was “committed to ensuring a safe and open environment for all, and action is taken under the athlete disciplinary policy where appropriate and proportionate”.
