The Newcastle striker saw us today connected to a new target in Alexander Sorloth Alexander Sorloth, but there have been two Premier League alternatives that have been aimed at most of the week.

Yoane warned Van Brentford is the name that refuses to leave, while wolves’ Jorgen Strand Larsen Is a player that we also started this week with the pursuit of our desperate search for a callum Wilson replacement at least.

An £ 40 million offer for Wissa was rejected on Wednesday, and saw the bees standing firmly while the Dr. Congo star insists on a movement, while there are mixed reports about Larsen.

Midlands Outlet de Express and Star suggest that we are not far from the asking price of Wolves – a gap of £ 5 million was even mentioned on Thursday – while Craig Hope of the mail is on it that they are not interested in selling the Big Norwegian.

But what did their managers say? Starting with Wissa, the new bee boss Keith Andrews has to say this when he was questioned today during rush hour, which indicates his wish to keep him, even if it is unlikely that he will be against Aston Villa tomorrow:

“He trains with the team. I will make a decision about the team tomorrow, but this week he is part of the group.

“He is now a Brentford player. My attitude around Yoane is all the time that I don’t want him to leave; that has not changed.”

“For me I don’t want to lose a player of that quality. He knows that I want him to stay. My attitude has not changed; I want a striker who scored 19 Premier League goals in this building”

Then Vorror Pereira at Wolves, who was asked for Strand Larsen today.

The Portuguese boss admits that he did not talk about Newcastle with the 25-year-old and praised his dedication in training, but refused to exclude a movement before the window closes in 10 days:

“He is a very important player for us. I never talked to him about it, he is our player.

“I look at him in the training and he is dedicated. He is preparing to play tomorrow. When the window is open, players can come and leave. This is football.”

Both deals see difficult, with Wolves and Brentford with relegation after losing a number of important players this summer.

This will only harden their position and increase their demands, which can explain why links to Sorloth and Chelsea’s available Nicolas Jackson were created today.
