Earlier this year, winter came and went without the Atlanta Braves hosting their annual Braves Fest event. The reasoning at the time was that they were doing some serious renovations to the ballpark to get the venue ready for the upcoming season (and specifically the 2025 MLB All-Star Game festivities). As such, the 2025 event was canceled with the hope that it would take place again in 2026 after a one-year hiatus.
That appears to be the case, as the Braves have announced that Braves Fest will take place on January 31, 2026.
If you’ve never experienced this before, I highly recommend getting out and experiencing it for yourself as soon as that time of year comes. You’ll get tons of access to the ballpark (including the field itself), the chance to meet players and coaches, and do a ton of other Braves-related activities at both the ballpark and The Battery. Plus, it’s free and folks, there’s no arguing with that entrance fee. If you’re a local Braves fan, this is sure to be a fun way to break the monotony of the offseason with this winter reminder that baseball season is right around the corner.
So yeah, while this isn’t the most important thing in the world, it’s still cool to see that this event is still around and that the one year hiatus was just a one year hiatus. Are you going to the event? Let us know!
