De Braves scored 10 points on nine hits and an amazing 14 walks against the Kansas City Royals on Monday evening and took a 10-7 victory to make a five-game Skid losing.
Spencer Strider did not look comfortable in the beginning and gave up in the first two points. He needed 50 throws to get through two innings, but settled nicely from there, threw in the sixth inning to maintain a taxed bull pen.
The Braves were unable to resolve the 45-year-old Rich Hill for the first time through the order, but they almost thought of him in the middle innings when Ronald Acuña Jr. And Marcell Ozuna each crushed two-runs to give Atlanta a 4-2 lead. Acuña’s shot went 468 feet – an absolute explosion – and Ozuna’s Homer was a face for painful eyes with the trading deadline less than 72 hours away.
The score held on 4-2 until the Braves broke open in the seventh and eighth. It became a bit sticky in the 9th inning when Rafael Montero did not succeed in taking an out and allowed three points to score on two hits and two free runs. Fortunately, Raisel Iglesias came in with the score with the score 10-6 and immediately brought out the fire to win the 10-7 victory.
