Lunardi’s latest projection, will be released on Friday, January 30has Indiana as the last team in the field of 68. In the projection, the Hoosiers are a No. 11 seed playing Texas in a first-of-four matchup in Dayton, Ohio.
In a next update on Saturday, January 31 at 10:30 PM ETLunardi placed the Hoosiers as one of the final four teams to receive a bye. This was after IU’s dual win over UCLA.
Lunardi is projected to have 11 Big Ten teams that will appear on the NCAA tournament field in 2026.

The latest CBS Sports projection, published on Sunday February 1has the Hoosiers as the No. 9 seed after wins against Purdue and UCLA. The Hoosiers will play No. 8 seed Villanova in their latest projection.

The first four teams are Missouri, Seton Hall, Stanford and Texas.
