Duly Resolved was sent into action and was parked three wide in the first corner by Victor Laszlo, who accepted the pocket trip. The 3/2 betting favorite Speed Away also took off into early race position, but settled past the pylons in 4th place.
Duly Resolved, last week’s winner in this event, raced past the opening bar in 27.1 and continued his comfortable journey, reaching the halfway point in 56.2 in a quarter of 29.1.
Duly Resolved headed into the backstretch and further into the point against cold weather conditions.
Speed Away increased the pressure by trotting over first. Navy followed a helm in second and Dyladmar countered down the backstretch in third.
Duly Resolved stayed in front, reaching three-quarters in 1:25.1 (28.4), but was besieged. At the top of the stretch, Speed Away was able to wear down the pacer from his first over.
Navy Blue circled three wide and charged home at deep to win by half a length in 1:55.2. He paid $31.60 for the winnings.

Navy Blue (Anders) is owned by Austin Clarence Stafford of Felton, Delaware and F. Wyatt Starkey of Sudlersville, Maryland. Austin’s mother Stacey Johnson-Stafford trained and his father Art Stafford Jr. drove.
All Wrapped Up closed to finish second and Dully Resolved took the show spot.
A pick 5 worth $2,192 has been transferred to tomorrow night’s (Wednesday) betting card.
Wednesday’s race is the Fillies and Mares Open Handicap Pace.
On Thursday there are 4 divisions of the Matron Stakes for three year olds at Bally’s Dover. The Matron Stake races take place on races 6,8,10 and 12.
