Blue Cypress Golf Course in Jacksonville, FLA. Recently three new golf holes revealed, giving the former 9-hole layout a total of 12 pleasure-to-play golf holes. Designed in collaboration by Michael Beebe, Van Beebe & Associates, the city of Jacksonville and Throne, the three new gaps are designed to be played in itself, or as a supplement to the original layout of 9 holes. Blue Cypress has branded the original 9-hole course “Big Blue”, the new 3-hole course “Little Blue” and the full layout of 12 holes “The boxes”. Current blue Cypress Golf costs for adults vary from $ 21 to $ 37, depending on the number of holes and walking or driving. Twilight and reduced rates for First Responders, military, city employees and seniors are also available. Children 17 years and younger can always play little blue at any time with a paying adult and Big Blue or the dozen for just $ 10. Little Blue will organize countless junior programs and grow the game initiatives of the game. First T-shirt from North Florida will also extend programming on Blue Cypress, using Little Blue’s beginners-friendly layout.
Blue Cypress broke soil on the three small blue holes in May 2024. The three new holes all play between 55 and 125 meters, depending on the Tee -Box played and are all par 3s. The original 9-hole from Blue Cypress, AKA Big Blue, has a mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s and plays a par of 36. Blue Cypress also offers an ultra-modern practice facility with a 3,500 square base of short game practice green and a 330-yard long grass exercise.
Owned by the city of Jacksonville and managed by Indigo Sports, a throne company, Blue Cypress was originally opened in the 1960s and operated over the years under different names. In 2020, Blue Cypress was reopened under Indigo Sports Management after undergoing major renovations. Nowadays Blue Cypress Golf Course is known for its reasonable rates, excellent course conditions, friendly staff and hospitable atmosphere for golfers of all skills.
