Blackburn Rovers’ Championship arms against Ipswich Town will be played completely after it has been left last Saturday.
Blackburn led 1-0 through the second half of Todd Cantwell, while Ipswich had sent Jacob Greaves away before the game was stopped in the 79th minute due to heavy rainfall.
The defender will still serve a suspension, but Cantwell’s goal will no longer be, with a new date for the fixed set set in due course.
An EFL statement confirmed that a “majority” decided that the game should be played in full after a board meeting, after all options were considered in accordance with the regulations.
