BKB 48: Trujillo vs. Johnson Headlines Brawl In The Pines V in Florida

Miami, FL, US – BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing, the world’s oldest and largest bare knuckle -vecht promotion, is officially set to return to South Florida Friday, November 22of BKB 48: Brawl in the Pines V In the Charles F. Dodge Center in Pembroke Pines. The blockbuster card has stacked a line-up with pound-for-pound elite bare knuckles from all over the world.

Main event: Trujillo vs. Johnson Jr.

The night, unbeaten at night Heavyweight Champion Gustavo “The Cuban Assassin” Trujillo defends his crown against experienced MMA veteran Tony “Hulk” Johnson Jr.

Trujillo (7-0, 7 Kos), originally from Morón Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, and now Vecht from Miami, has been a demolition force in bare boxing. All seven of his victories came through the first round knockout, with Highlight-Reel-Stop settings on champions Lorenzo Hunt, Ike Villanueva and Richie Lek.

Johnson Jr., a veteran of Bellator MMA, one championship and king of the cagewill look to stop the dominant run of Trujillo and to claim the heavyweight title in his BKB debut.

Co-Main Event: Nelson vs. Jones II

The Co-Main event contains the long-awaited rematch between LT “Smash” Nelson And Barrie “The Welsh Wrecking Machine” Jones.

Bee Byb 30Nelson (Broken Arrow, Oklahoma via Pietermaritzburg, South Africa) scored one Third round knockout About Jones, ended his perfect 10-0 record and seize his Police Gazette World Centralweight Title. Nelson, already a BYB champion of two division at the time, confirmed his reputation as the #1 pound-for-pound bare knuckle hunter in the world (boxrec).

Jones (Pontygwaith, Wales), currently arranged #5 pound-for-poundsreflected by the BKB Light Heavyweight Championship against Gregoris Cisneros. With both men who drive high, this rematch has important implications for the supremacy of division.

Third title fight: Grant vs. Barnard

Add even more gold to the night, BKB Lightweight Champion Jarod “Kid Gatti” Grant (Hollywood, Florida) defends his belt against top candidate Jon “Indominable” Barnard 3Gala, Hawaii (Hawaii).

Grant earned the interim title in May with a victory over Jorge Bargallo and was recently elevated to full champion after Julio Tanori was stripped of the belt because of the inactivity. Barnard insured his shot by beating the ruling featherweight champion Harold McQueen in a lightweight eliminator.

Unbeaten confrontation: Fuentes vs. Fernandez

In a collision of unbeaten Super CruiserweightsCubas Yordan Fuentes (4-0) square of Mexico Julian Fernandez (2-0). Both hunters want to settle as future title candidates.
