The Kobeissi Letter analyst explained that Trump’s tariff threats typically follow a 12-step process. According to their estimates, the current situation between the US and the EU is at step seven, which means that dip buyers “intervene and trigger a relief rally, but this move often fades and leads to another decline.”
This could explain BTC’s latest charted gain, which saw the asset rise above $90,000 after dipping below $88,000 earlier this morning. Still, the analysts said smart money typically starts buying between the seventh and eighth steps.
During his speech, Trump also emphasized his belief that the US should have the lowest interest rates, and urged Fed Chairman Powell to cut them next week.
On cryptocurrency regulation, the POTUS said the US should remain the digital asset capital of the world added that he hopes that the bill, which caused much controversy last week, will be signed into law soon.
