Bitcoin’s price has been on a marked decline over the past month and a half, losing more than 30% in value since its all-time high in early October.
The year-to-date low occurred on Friday, when it fell below $81,000 for the first time since April, and Bitcoin has since regained around $5,000.
However, Ali Martinez painted a more painful picture, claiming that his assets were previously between the green and blue price levels. If that happens again now, it would mean another crash of up to 50% if BTC ($85,830.00) falls to $44,700, where the blue is.

What could be further troubling for the largest cryptocurrency is the behavior of certain investors. As previously reported, some whales have sold off significant amounts of their assets, including some OGs.
Those using spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States have also lost their assets. Despite the more positive Friday, more than $1.2 billion remained in the funds last week. BlackRock’s IBIT has had a particularly violent period.
Additionally, Martinez said the number of BTC sent to exchanges in the past week has skyrocketed to 20,000 units. This significant stock, worth almost $2 billion, is likely to be transferred to trading platforms with the intention of selling.
Moreover, the popular analyst warned that capital inflows into the entire crypto market have fallen from $86 billion just three months ago to $10 billion today. These developments suggest that BTC, like the rest of the market, may not be out of the woods yet.
