In an interview with Fox News Digital, Kobel said that the driver seemed to be upset about his service dog. When Nikolaevich refused to allow the pet, Kobel asked to cancel the ride.

Surveillance images show that Nikolaevich steps out of the Audi SUV, grabs Kobel by the throat and then heads him and hits him – the unconscious CEO and his dog pop on the floor.

Another male 911 -Beller described the bloody scene.

“He bleed very badly in the back of the head,” the man said. “We need an ambulance. Send the police … there are a Gazillion witnesses.”

Unlike Kobel, however, Nikolaevich’s night was not over after the attack. Kobel said he had picked up a new ride two minutes after accelerating.

“This man attacks me violently, let me bleed out of my head in a parking lot, rushes away and picks someone two minutes later,” said Kobel. “When I left the hospital, my account was suspended and within 48 hours it was deactivated. Despite the sharing of hospital data, police files, the name and telephone number of the detective and images of the attack, Uber chose to accuse me effectively and to defend me.”

Authorities later told Kobel that Nikolaevich’s driver’s license was fake and that he lived illegally in the US in the US.

“Riders trust Uber to know who is behind the wheel,” wrote Kneth Berger, Kobel’s lawyer, in a statement to Fox News Digital. “We are looking for answers and accountability for how a person without papers used who used a fraudulent ID, had access to the Uber platform, to attack and flee a passenger. Publicly traded companies that benefit from public trust and real -time identity systems that actually protect people.”

The lawsuit claims that, as a direct consequence of Nikolaevich’s behavior while working for Uber and Raiser, Kobel sustained serious injury and losses, including lost pleasure of life, physical pain and suffering, mental fear and medical costs.

“It took about 60 days before I could really have some appearance of a normal life,” said Kobel. “I had to bring our employees into a zoom call and inform them about what had happened … I couldn’t look at screens, I couldn’t really concentrate my eyes … I had a full loss of vocabulary.

Moreover, lawyers claim that the ride giant is negligent in screening, hiring and monitoring administrators, which leads to security risks for his riders.

“Uber lets a wolf into the chicken coop,” said Kobel. “They allowed a man who was illegal in a country, a Russian subject with a fake permit, through their background control and making their way, and then without reason having nothing more than a violent eruption.”
