Besides Jaiswal, the other thirteen BJP leaders are Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha; Mangal Pandey, Nitin Navin, Ramkripal Yadav, Sanjay Singh ‘Tiger’, Arun Shankar Prasad, Surendra Mehta, Narayan Prasad, Rama Nishad, Lakhendra Paswan, Shreyasi Singh and Pramod Kumar Chandravanshi.
While Mangal Pandey and Nitin Naveen are returning to the Cabinet, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha had also appeared in the list earlier.
The rest of the ten leaders are entirely new candidates, with the addition of two women: Shreyasi Singh and Rama Nishad.
The eight JD(U) leaders are Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Shravan Kumar, Vijendra Yadav, Ashok Chaudhary, Leshi Singh, Jama Khan and Madan Sahni.
HAM will have Santosh Kumar Suman as its ministerial representative.
From the LJP, Sanjay Kumar (Paswan) from Bakhri and Sanjay Singh from Mahua will take oath. The RML is represented by Deepak Prakash.
According to sources, Bihar’s new cabinet will be expanded after Makar Sankranti on January 14, 2026.
The swearing-in ceremony comes almost a week after the NDA retained Bihar with a huge mandate, winning 202 seats in the 243-member Assembly, while the BJP bagged 89, JD(U) 85, LJP(RV) 19, HAM 5 and RLM 4.
The event will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda and several other top NDA leaders. The event will also be attended by Chief Ministers of various NDA-ruled states.
