Bee Two Bee sets off from post 5 with Jason Hughes back on the bike for trainer Ashley Gamester and owners Donald MacRae and Blair Maclauchlan. The nine-year-old Sunshine Beach stallion has been dominant during his current run, showing he can win from the front or come from behind against top company, and will be assigned the outside again this week.
Brigus (ridden by Adam Merner) is in track control in the feature for trainer Nicholas Oakes after an open 1:55 win in his last.
Malignity (Paul Langille) holds post 2 after winning his last two starts, while TH Boomtown poses another major threat from post 3 with Gilles Barrieau on board for trainer Ron Matheson after winning last week’s feature in Bee Two Bee’s absence.
Post 4 is by Captainofrocknroll (Ken Murphy) who took second and third place in his first two Red Shores Preferred attempts.

On the undercard, the $2,800 PEISHOA Pace in race 7 has Mr. Rielly the morning line choice from post 1 ahead of trainer-driver Corey MacPherson owners Jim Gorman of South Melville and Darlene Compton of South Pinette. The son of Steelhead Hanover will look to recover from a stride break in his latest effort.
St Charlesfireball lines up from post 2 with Jason Hughes, while Uriel Blue Chip gets post 3 ahead of Murphy. Power Of Four (Ryan Desroche), Buddysnvirgins (Barrieau) and a returning Maintenance Man (Merner) complete the field.
